Senior Shia cleric: “Boosting Islamic unity is a necessity”

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought met with Liaqat Baloch, president of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan (Pakistan Islamic Party) called Iran’s neighboring country as one of the most important Islamic countries that can play a vital role for the world of Islam.Iranian cleric stressed if Islamic movements in Pakistan unite, they can form a very mighty power in the region.He warned that regional incidents are Zionist intrigues to prevent Islamic Awakening and noted,” US allies have plotted to halt unification of Islamic states.”He referred to topple of Islamist movements in Egypt condemning the same movement for waging sectarian strives in Syria and Iraq.Ayatollah Araki reiterated necessity of boosting Islamic unity as one of the most vital missions in present era and demanded all Muslim countries to move under a single strategy.Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought announced preparation of the Islamic unity center for cooperation to strengthen solidarity among Muslims.President of the Supreme Council at the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in this meeting called all Muslims to be responsible for foiling intrigues against Islam and noted,” Anyone who aid the Zionists to disperse Muslims, pursue Takfir (excommunication) or create clashes among Muslims are enemies of Islam.”Liaqat Baloch, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Party in Pakistan, stressed his objective in this meeting was to foil thoughts that there is any distance among Islamic movements in Iran and Pakistan.He referred to the present intrigues in the world of Islam and expressed gratitude for efforts by Islamic Republic of Iran to solve the issues in the world of Islam extending his thanks for Iran’s stance in regards to the issues of Kashmir and Palestine.Pakistani envy vowed his country will struggle for boosting unity among Muslims and prevent intrigues and bloodshed of Muslims.He also hailed Iran’s developments in different arenas and announced preparation of his organization for cooperation with the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in the fields of research and science.  /129
